President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating has stopped its decline and edged up slightly.
According to a presidential job performance survey released that day by Gallup Korea, conducted from the 18th to the 20th among 1,004 registered voters aged 18 and older nationwide, approval of President Lee stood at 45%, up 1 percentage point from the previous week.
Disapproval stood at 45%, down 1 percentage point from the previous week — bringing approval and disapproval of President Lee's job performance to a tie.
The survey was conducted via phone interviews using random digit dialing of virtual mobile numbers. The margin of error is ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level, with a response rate of 10.0%.
