Kim Sun-tae to appear on MBC election broadcast

Kim Sun-tae, a former public official turned YouTuber, will appear on a televised election broadcast next month.

According to broadcasting industry sources on Sunday, Kim will join MBC’s vote-counting special program “Choice 2026,” which will air on June 3 during coverage of South Korea’s ninth nationwide local elections.

Kim is widely known by the nickname “Chungju Man” after gaining popularity while working as a promotional official for Chungju City in North Chungcheong Province.

Since leaving public office, he has continued his career as a YouTuber, producing promotional content for companies, local governments and various organizations.

His YouTube channel currently has about 1.66 million subscribers.
