K-pop stars G-Dragon and Stray Kids will take part in a charity concert in Paris later this month, joining a lineup of global pop acts.
According to the music industry on Thursday, G-Dragon and Stray Kids are set to perform on Jan. 22 at La Défense Arena as part of the annual “Yellow Coins” charity event. International stars including Christina Aguilera and A$AP Rocky are also scheduled to appear.
The “Yellow Coins” campaign is organized by a hospital foundation chaired by Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron. Launched in 1989, the initiative has raised funds almost every year to support children and adolescents receiving hospital treatment.
Since 2023, the foundation has expanded the campaign to include large-scale charity concerts featuring artists from around the world, with proceeds from ticket sales donated to the cause. G-Dragon appeared on the charity stage last year, while Stray Kids took part in the 2024 concert, continuing their support for the long-running philanthropic project.
