Yoon Bo-mi, Rado to wed after nine years

Yoon Bo-mi of Apink is set to marry producer Rado, bringing their nine-year relationship to fruition.

Yoon announced the news directly to fans on December 18 by posting a handwritten letter on her fan café. “I decided to share my future with someone who has stayed by my side for a long time, sharing everyday life with me through moments of joy and moments of uncertainty,” she wrote.

The couple is reportedly preparing to hold their wedding ceremony in May next year. Addressing fans who have been waiting for her new album, Yoon expressed concern that the news might come as a surprise. “I worry that fans who have been looking forward to my first album in three years might feel startled or disappointed, and I feel sorry about that,” she said.

She added, “As I have until now, I will continue to live my life without losing my sense of responsibility and become even stronger,” pledging to repay fans’ support with better activities “as a member of Apink and as Yoon Bo-mi.”

Yoon and Rado first crossed paths in 2016 while working on Apink’s third full-length album, Pink Revolution, as singer and producer. Their professional relationship later developed into a romantic one, which became public last year. After nine years together, the two are now preparing to begin married life.
