Singer Hwasa continued her dominant solo run by claiming the top spot on a major music show for a second consecutive week without making a broadcast appearance.
Hwasa took first place on MBC’s Show! Music Core on Dec. 13 with her song “Good Goodbye,” marking her second straight week at No. 1. Combined with previous wins on Show! Music Core and SBS’s Inkigayo, the track has now secured a triple crown on music shows.
The song’s digital performance has been equally overwhelming. “Good Goodbye” topped all six major domestic streaming platforms—Melon, Genie, Bugs, YouTube Music, Flo and Vibe—earning Hwasa the first “perfect all-kill” by a female solo artist this year.
The upward momentum has extended to global charts. “Good Goodbye” ranked No. 1 for the second straight week on the newly launched Billboard Korea Hot 100 and reached the top spot for the first time on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. On the Billboard Global 200, the track climbed 11 places from the previous week to No. 32.
Domestic indicators also remained strong. On the Circle Chart’s Week 49 rankings, covering Nov. 30 to Dec. 6, Hwasa swept major categories including digital, streaming and background music, achieving a six-category sweep for the second consecutive week.
