BTS member Jungkook has been chosen as the inaugural artist for a major new global project from Rolling Stone, marking another milestone in his expanding global influence.

The music magazine recently unveiled Jungkook’s solo cover, announcing that the project is a joint collaboration across Korea, the UK, and Japan. As the first featured artist, Jungkook once again demonstrated his brand power as a global pop star.

Jungkook appears on all three national print editions simultaneously, becoming the first Korean solo artist ever to grace the cover of Rolling Stone UK. His photoshoot also rolled out as digital covers in eight countries, including the United States, France, India, the Philippines, and China, amplifying his reach even further. The accompanying interview delves into his recent activities, musical direction, and long-term vision.

Calling this moment “a time for a new leap,” Jungkook said, “I want to be an artist who creates trends, not one who simply follows them.”

His achievements in the global music market continue to build. On Spotify, his solo tracks have surpassed 10 billion cumulative streams—the first such milestone for a Korean solo artist. His breakout single Seven has alone exceeded 2.6 billion streams.
