MBC’s legendary variety show Infinite Challenge is marking its 20th anniversary with a special pop-up store and official merchandise, drawing explosive interest from fans — but also disappointment after it emerged that Yoo Jae-suk and Noh Hong-chul’s faces are missing from key items.
The Infinite Challenge 20th anniversary pop-up store will run from December 5 to 16 on the fifth floor “Epic Seoul” zone at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, western Seoul. Reservations opened on December 4 through Naver Booking, where a rush of users trying to secure slots caused noticeable delays on the site.
Inside the venue, organizers have prepared a series of themed spaces, including various photo zones, a gacha (capsule toy) zone, a claw machine corner, and a 2026 fortune-drawing corner, designed to tap into fans’ nostalgia for the long-running show. The pop-up had billed the event as the first time it would release official merchandise (MD) using members’ portrait rights — but the pre-released MD list did not include Yoo Jae-suk or Noh Hong-chul. The two are reportedly still sorting out portrait-rights issues.
Ahead of the pop-up, the Infinite Challenge “2026 Advent Calendar,” which opened for pre-order sales on November 28, sold out in just one hour. The calendar lays out a month-by-month timeline from January to December, highlighting the show’s legendary specials and anniversaries, and is packed with classic member moments aimed at rekindling fans’ memories.
Designed in the style of an Advent calendar, each monthly window opens to reveal magnets printed with members’ faces and iconic on-screen captions, turning the act of opening each compartment into a small throwback to the heyday of Infinite Challenge.
