Five songs from the Netflix animated film K-pop Demon Hunters have entered the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously, marking a rare achievement for an animation soundtrack.
According to the latest chart released on November 25 (local time), the OST’s title track “Golden” climbed to No. 2, driving the project’s global momentum.
Other entries followed in strong succession:
“Soda Pop” at No. 21
“Your Idol” at No. 24
“How It’s Done” at No. 36
“What It Sounds Like” at No. 42
It is extremely unusual for five tracks from an animated film to land on the main singles chart all at once.
HYBE’s global girl group CAT’S EYE, also part of the OST project, continued to gain traction. Their track “Gabriela” debuted at No. 31 on the Hot 100.
The OST album for K-pop Demon Hunters ranked No. 5 on the Billboard 200, underscoring the film’s worldwide buzz.
CAT’S EYE also made notable gains on the album chart:
Their mini album “Beautiful Chaos” entered at No. 31
Their debut EP “SIS (Soft Is Strong)” re-entered at No. 110
Korean boy groups also saw success this week.
Stray Kids’ “KARMA” placed at No. 45, and TXT member Yeonjun’s solo album “NO LABELS : PART 01” ranked at No. 163.
