All five members of NewJeans have expressed their intention to return to ADOR, a year after announcing the termination of their exclusive contracts.

On Nov. 12, ADOR said, “Haerin and Hyein have decided, after extensive discussions, to continue their activities with ADOR,” adding that the members “expressed their commitment to respecting the court’s ruling and honoring their exclusive contracts.” The two members are said to have reached the decision after thorough conversations with their families.

Following ADOR’s announcement, Minji, Hanni and Danielle also stated, “After careful consideration, we have decided to return to ADOR.” They added, “One of our members is currently in Antarctica, which delayed communication, and since we received no response from ADOR, we issued a separate statement. We will continue to bring sincere music and performances.”

ADOR responded by saying it is “in the process of confirming the authenticity of the three members’ intent,” and added that it “will provide full support to ensure Haerin and Hyein can continue their entertainment activities smoothly.”

This reunification comes exactly one year after the members sought to terminate their contracts amid the dispute over the reinstatement of former CEO Min Hee-jin. In the contract validity lawsuit, the court ruled twice in favor of ADOR.
