K-pop girl group BABYMONSTER has released behind-the-scenes footage from their spectacular “We Go Up” performance video, featuring a massive stage production with 50 dancers and bursts of colorful smoke.
The video, unveiled on October 25, shows the members practicing their choreography with intense focus even before the official shoot began. Despite the physically demanding routine requiring powerful arm and leg movements, the group rehearsed repeatedly to perfect their synchronization and precision.
According to YG Entertainment, filming took place outdoors in scorching 36-degree weather, yet the members’ passion burned even hotter. The large-scale performance, enhanced by dynamic color-smoke effects and the energy of a 50-member mega crew, created an awe-inspiring spectacle.
BABYMONSTER channeled upgraded choreography and hip-hop swagger to deliver an explosive, high-energy result. Even as filming continued late into the night, the group maintained a cheerful atmosphere—sharing laughter, teasing one another, and meticulously reviewing footage to refine every detail.
“The shoot with the mega crew was a first for us, but our teamwork was amazing,” the members said. “We hope everyone continues to show lots of love for ‘We Go Up.’”
BABYMONSTER made their comeback on October 10 with their second mini-album We Go Up. The title track’s music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube faster than any K-pop artist release this year, while the exclusive performance video has already topped 89 million views in just 12 days, underscoring the group’s growing global appeal.
