Singer Lee Chan-won has reached half a million in album sales with his second full-length album Brilliant (燦爛), marking his third consecutive half-million-selling release.

According to Hanteo Chart on Tuesday, Brilliant recorded cumulative sales of 543,404 copies just two days after its release, topping the daily album chart.

Lee previously surpassed 500,000 sales with his first full album ONE and his second mini album Bright; Chan (bright;燦), extending his streak to three consecutive half-million sellers. The album’s title track “Somehow Today” soared to No. 1 on Bugs’ real-time chart and ranked high on Melon’s Hot 100, with several B-side tracks also entering major charts simultaneously.

Brilliant spans multiple genres and was fully produced by composer Cho Young-soo, featuring collaborations with singer Roy Kim, lyricist Kim Eana, duo Rocoberry, and musicians including Lee Yoo-jin, Han Gil, Five Talents, and Lee Kyu-hyung. The title track, composed by Cho and written by Roy Kim, introduces a country-pop sound, signaling a fresh musical direction for Lee.

Lee plans to continue meeting fans through a variety of broadcast appearances and live performances.
