BLACKPINK opened its much-anticipated Asia tour with two electrifying nights in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, turning the city’s National Stadium into a sea of pink excitement.

The group held its “DEADRA in Kaohsiung” concerts on October 18 and 19, becoming the first K-pop act ever to perform twice at the massive National Stadium following last year’s “BORN PINK” world tour.

The response was overwhelming. Both shows sold out in advance, drawing over 100,000 fans across two days, reaffirming BLACKPINK’s status as one of the world’s top global acts.

The concert opened with explosive performances of “Kill This Love” and “Pink Venom”, followed by a medley of hits including “How You Like That,” “Playing with Fire,” and “Shut Down.” The crowd’s roar filled the 55,000-seat venue as fans sang along to every song.

Each member — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa — took the stage for reimagined solo performances that spanned genres from hip-hop to pop and rock, showcasing their individual artistry and charisma.

“The passion and energy from Kaohsiung were incredible,” the members said after the concert. “It felt like a dream to see this beautiful stadium filled with our fans. We’re deeply grateful.”

With Kaohsiung marking the start, BLACKPINK will now embark on an 18-show tour across seven cities in Asia, including Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment confirmed the group is currently filming music videos for their upcoming album. “We’re in the final stages of production to ensure the highest quality,” the agency said. “Both the members and staff are working tirelessly to deliver the best result.”
