Actress Ham Eun-jung, a former member of the popular K-pop group T-ara, will marry film director Kim Byung-woo, known for Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, in a private ceremony next month, her agency Mask Studio announced Thursday.

The wedding will be held behind closed doors with only family members and close acquaintances in attendance, according to entertainment industry sources. Ham, 37, and Kim, 45, reportedly met several years ago through mutual acquaintances in the film industry and have been in a relationship since.

Ham began her career as a child actress before debuting as a member of T-ara in 2009, gaining wide popularity with hits such as Bo Peep Bo Peep and Roly-Poly. After ending her music activities, she returned to acting and recently starred in the KBS2 daily drama The Queen’s House, which concluded last month.

Director Kim Byung-woo made his feature debut with The Terror Live (2013), which earned him the Blue Dragon Film Award for Best New Director. Following the July release of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, he is set to premiere his next project, the sci-fi disaster film The Great Flood, on Netflix in December.
