SBS has confirmed that its new Friday-Saturday drama Taxi Driver 3 will premiere on November 21, marking the start of the third mission for the secretive Rainbow Taxi crew.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, the series follows Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon), a mysterious taxi driver who delivers vigilante justice on behalf of victims failed by the system. Returning cast members include Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram.
The teaser poster unveiled by SBS features the tagline “The third ride begins,” along with the Rainbow Taxi logo and the silhouette of Do-gi’s newly upgraded car, emblazoned with license number 5283 — offering a powerful hint at the show’s return after two years. Producers said the upcoming season will showcase “grander scale and deeper storytelling.”
The Taxi Driver series has earned acclaim for its cathartic blend of social commentary and action, portraying a team of shadowy avengers who take on real-world injustices. Past seasons have tackled issues such as digital sex crimes, cult exploitation, and nightclub scandals, earning praise for both its emotional depth and dynamic teamwork.
