The Netflix animated film K-pop Demon Hunters continues to make waves in the global music scene, with its original soundtrack “Golden” securing the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for the sixth consecutive week.
According to Billboard’s preview article released on September 22 (local time), “Golden” has remained on the chart for 13 straight weeks since its July debut, holding the top spot for five consecutive weeks and now a total of six. Billboard noted, “Golden is the longest-running No. 1 song in chart history performed by an animated character.”
During the latest tracking week, “Golden” drew about 32.1 million streams (down 5% from the previous week), 30.6 million radio impressions (up 16%), and around 7,000 digital sales (down 6%). The track extended its run atop the Streaming Songs chart to nine weeks, ranked 16th on Radio Songs, and came in second on Digital Song Sales.
Three other songs from the K-pop Demon Hunters soundtrack also cracked the top 10: “Soda Pop” at No. 5, “Your Idol” at No. 6, and “How It’s Done” at No. 10.
The rare achievement of placing four tracks from the same animated soundtrack in the Hot 100’s top 10 underscores the global influence and musical appeal of K-pop Demon Hunters, further solidifying its cultural impact.
