Nana to debut as solo singer after 16 years

Singer and actress Nana is set to make her solo debut, 16 years after first entering the entertainment industry.

Her agency Sublime announced on September 9 that Nana will release her first solo album, Seventh Heaven 16, at 6 p.m. on September 14, her birthday. “This marks the beginning of her full-fledged music career as a solo artist,” the agency said.

The album reflects Nana’s voice and artistic sensibility built over 16 years of performing, from her debut as a member of After School to her acting career. The title combines “Seventh Heaven,” symbolizing bliss, with the number “16,” representing her 16th anniversary since debut.
