Comedian Yoon Jung-soo’s wife has been identified as Won Ja-hyun, a former sports reporter once nicknamed the “Guangzhou Goddess.”

According to media reports on Tuesday, Won—who previously worked as a KBS reporter, Weather News anchor, traffic caster, and MBC Sports reporter—rose to fame during the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games. She later won a title at the Muscle Mania World Championship in 2015 and transitioned to a career as a Pilates instructor in 2017.

Yoon, who is 12 years older than Won, had previously revealed on variety shows that his wife was a Pilates instructor he had known for more than a decade before their relationship turned romantic earlier this year. He announced their marriage registration on his YouTube channel last month, adding that they would hold a wedding ceremony in November, though he did not reveal her identity at the time.

Attention grew after Won recently shared photos from a trip to Rome on social media, coinciding with Yoon’s past remarks describing his wife as “having big, slightly prominent eyes, and resembling senior comedian Park Mi-sun.”

The couple’s story will be further highlighted on TV Chosun’s reality program Lovers of Joseon, which teased footage of Yoon and his wife sharing their feelings ahead of marriage. Producers said viewers would have to wait until the September 8 broadcast to see the bride-to-be on screen.
