The soundtrack of Netflix’s animated film K-pop Demon Hunters has once again topped the Billboard Hot 100, with the theme song “Golden” returning to No. 1. In total, 12 K-pop tracks entered the chart this week, underscoring the genre’s growing dominance in global music.
According to Billboard on August 26, “Golden,” performed by the fictional girl group Huntrix in the film, rose one notch to reclaim the top spot. The track has now spent two non-consecutive weeks at No. 1.
The film’s soundtrack placed eight songs on the Hot 100. “Your Idol” ranked No. 4, “Soda Pop” No. 5, and “How It’s Done” No. 10. Other entries include “What It Sounds Like” (No. 20), “Free” (No. 23), and “Takedown” (No. 25), along with a version of “Takedown” sung by TWICE members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung at No. 53.
Outside the OST, Rosé’s solo track “Apartment” landed at No. 42, marking its 44th consecutive week on the chart. BLACKPINK’s new single “Jump” debuted at No. 74, while TWICE’s “Strategy” entered at No. 57 and girl group Cat’s Eye’s “Gabriella” at No. 72.
On the Billboard 200 albums chart, the K-pop Demon Hunters OST held steady at No. 2 for the second consecutive week, extending its run to nine weeks. Cat’s Eye’s EP Beautiful Chaos ranked No. 53, TWICE’s This Is For came in at No. 79, and Tomorrow X Together’s The Star Chapter: Together charted at No. 178.
