Bada of iconic K-pop group SES has released her new album Love wave, marking her comeback after a year.

The album showcases Bada’s distinctive vocals and brings together a team of acclaimed producers and musicians. RocoBerry, known for mega-hits such as Ailee’s I Will Go to You Like the First Snow, Cho Jjazz’s Do You Know, and Paul Kim’s Goodbye, took part in production. Additional contributions came from Jooeun, former member of DIA and creator of Seo In-guk’s Japanese title tracks as well as Ji Seok-jin’s Milkshake, rising guitarist-producer Park Shin-won (Nois upGrader), and pianist Kim Chang-hyun.

Industry veterans collaborated to deliver what the team describes as Bada’s best work for fans. The album’s upbeat rhythms paired with her refreshing tone bring joy at the start, and its soaring high notes at the climax evoke a cool breeze to chase away the summer heat.

The release comes as Bada has already been gaining attention for her cover of Golden, featured in the hit Netflix animated film K-pop Demon Hunters. For fans awaiting her return, the new album is seen as a long-awaited gift.

The title track and music video are set to premiere at 6 p.m. on August 25 through her official YouTube channel.
