Kim Shin, guitarist of rookie boy band AxMxP, has been officially introduced ahead of the group’s debut.

On Friday, FNC Entertainment unveiled Kim through the “I AM P” video on its official social media channels, signaling the start of AxMxP’s full-scale debut promotions.

The video traces Kim’s journey from his childhood passion for creativity to his deep commitment to practicing guitar, highlighting his sincerity toward music. The closing caption, “I AM Peaceful,” reflected his introspective nature, suggesting an artist who seeks to explore inner emotions through sound.

“When I first held a guitar, I felt emotions I had never experienced before,” Kim said. “When I play music, all other sounds disappear, and only the sounds I create remain. I want to express my feelings and thoughts through music and deliver messages to more people with better songs.”

AxMxP is FNC’s first new band in about a decade. The name, short for “Amplify Music Power,” symbolizes the group’s ambition to amplify the power of music to move the world.

The band plans to continue building momentum by releasing additional content, including more videos in the “I AM P” series, in the lead-up to their debut.
