Rookie boy group CORTIS has heightened anticipation for their debut by unveiling a second set of concept photos for their upcoming album.

At midnight on August 14, the group’s official social media channels released images of members Martin, James, Joohoon, Sunghyun, and Gunho posing on the streets of Los Angeles. Leaning against a truck’s open trunk or sitting atop a pipeline, they exuded a carefree and unrestrained vibe.

Los Angeles was not just a backdrop but also the place where CORTIS worked on their debut album. The members spent three months there before their debut, participating in all aspects of production, from music and choreography to video. According to their agency BigHit Music, they returned in March to relive the memories and shoot the concept photos.

CORTIS will pre-release their title track What You Want and a performance film on August 18 at 6 p.m. The song, created during their stay in Los Angeles, serves as a declaration of the group’s bold ambitions, delivering the message, “We won’t hesitate to go after what we want.”

Their official debut album, Color Outside the Lines, will be released on September 8 at 6 p.m.
