Lee Min-woo of K-pop group Shinhwa introduced his fiancée, who is 11 years his junior, on KBS2’s Mr. House Husband 2.

In the August 9 broadcast, Lee contacted the production team himself to declare, “I’m getting married.” He revealed that he first met his fiancée, a third-generation Korean-Japanese, in 2013 during a Japan tour after-party, lost contact for years, and reconnected in 2018, leading to a relationship.

His fiancée is a single mother raising a six-year-old daughter and is currently pregnant. “We conceived the baby during a trip to Yangyang, so the baby’s nickname is ‘Yangyang,’” Lee explained.

The program showed his daily life with his fiancée — who resembles model Shiho Yano and actress Lee Min-jung — and her daughter. While his parents were initially surprised to learn she was divorced with a child, they made efforts to accept the reality. Concerned about their health, Lee suggested living together, but his parents worried it might be difficult for his fiancée. He expressed his wish to stay close to care for them, citing financial constraints. His fiancée’s decision to give up her life in Japan to live in Korea moved his parents.

In the final scene, Lee shared his parents’ positive response with his fiancée over a video call, reaffirming their affection for each other.
