BTS member J-Hope, along with actors Park Bo-gum and Lee Jun-hyuk, will receive individual awards at the Korea Broadcasting Awards, according to an announcement by the Korea Broadcasters Association on August 4.

The association reviewed 244 programs and 56 broadcasters aired over the past year, ultimately selecting 29 winners across 24 program categories and 18 winners across 20 individual categories.

Among the individual awards, veteran actor Choi Bul-am, host of KBS’s A Meal of Korean People, was recognized in the presenter category. Park Bo-gum won Best Entertainer, while Lee Jun-hyuk was named Best Actor. J-Hope was awarded Best Singer.

For Best Actor, Best Entertainer, and Best Singer, 30% of the final score came from viewer votes in addition to the judges’ evaluations.

In the program category, winners included MBC’s investigative series Noh Sang-won’s Notebook and KBS’s Insight Report 2216: Tracking the Jeju Air Black Box Records.

The Korea Broadcasting Awards, established in 1973, are held annually. This year’s ceremony will be broadcast live on SBS from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on September 3.
