Former Girl’s Day member Bang Min-ah (32) and actor On Joo-wan (41, real name Song Jung-sik) are set to get married this November. Following the announcement, fans are revisiting their joint appearance in the 2016 SBS drama Beautiful Gong Shim.

In the drama, Min-ah played Gong Shim, who harbored a one-sided love for the wealthy heir Seok Jun-soo, played by On. Although her character ultimately ended up with Ahn Dan-tae (played by Namgoong Min), real life had a different ending — with Min-ah and On now heading down the aisle. A “wedding dream scene” featuring Min-ah in the drama has resurfaced online, drawing renewed attention and congratulations from fans.

The couple also worked together again in 2021 during the musical The Days. Before officially joining the production, Min-ah posted a photo with On, who was already part of the cast, showcasing their close friendship.

Their deep bond became more evident last year when On reportedly stayed by Min-ah’s side throughout her father's funeral, highlighting the strength of their long-standing relationship.

Bang Min-ah debuted in 2010 as a member of Girl’s Day and quickly gained popularity for her sweet and charming image. She later transitioned into acting, building a career across dramas, films, and musicals.

On Joo-wan began his acting career with the 2002 drama Rustic Period and rose to fame after performing Yim Jae-beom’s “Confession” on KBS2’s reality show Romance War: Meeting in the Lodge. He has since played various lead and supporting roles in film and television, and is currently appearing in the musical Mahagonny.
