“The Attorney” becomes the 9th film to bring 10 million viewers

The film 'The Attorney' drew more than 10 million viewers!

On January 19, 'The Attorney' reached 10,000,000 viewers after 33 days of its release.

"The Attorney" is the ninth local film to break the 10 million mark in audience numbers along with "The Host", "The Thieves", "Miracle in Cell No.7", "Masquerade", "The King and the Clown", "TaeGukGi: Brotherhood Of War", "Haeundae", and "Silmido".

The film is expected to break a new record as it reached 10 million viewers 6 days faster than the Hollywood hit 'Avatar', which occupied the first place on the all time chart with 13.3 million admissions.

The movie is about an attorney named Song Woo-suk (Song Kang-ho) in Busan during the 1980s who becomes a human rights lawyer when he becomes involved in a special case. Song's character is based on the early years of the late president Roh Moo-hyun.
