Kim Soo-hyun convinced Jun Ji-hyun to star in ‘Man From the Stars’

The story behind casting Jun Ji-hyun for 'Man From the Stars' was revealed.

In a recent recording of E Channel's 'Brave Reporters', a reporter said, "In the beginning, Jun Ji-hyun rejected the casting offer as the lead actress of SBS drama 'Man From the Stars'."

He said, "Jun Ji-hyun was receiving many love calls from movies and dramas after the success of 'The Thieves' and 'The Berlin File'. She was already planning to star in a movie when she received casting offer for 'Man From the Stars'."

It turned out that the drama production team and the lead actor Kim Soo-hyun played a vital part in convincing Jun Ji-hyun to accept her role. The reporter said, "The continuous efforts of the production team and Kim Soo-hyun made Jun Ji-hyun change her mind."
