Go Soo to take lead role in new movie with Moon Chae-won

Actor Go Soo has been cast for the lead role for director Kang Jae-kyu's upcoming movie 'The Day Minwoo Comes' (working title).

On December 19, agency BH Entertainment stated, "Go Soo has been cast for the male lead role in Kang Jae-kyu's movie 'The Day Minwoo Comes'."

The movie is a part of a project supported by Hong Kong International Film Festival, where four famous Asian directors are selected to produce a short film.

'The Day Minwoo Comes' is about a woman who waited for a man separated for 60 years after Korea's division into north and south and a man that the woman waited for. It will tell the story of the love, sadness and longings of a separated family.

Actress Moon Chae-won will be taking the female lead role.

The movie will begin filming in January and will premiere at the Hong Kong International Film Festival in March. It will be then released in April.
