Super Junior‘s Kangin to star in movie “Cat Funeral”

Super Junior's Kangin will be coming back to the big screen.

Kangin has been cast in the lead role of indie musician Dong Hoon for the movie 'Cat Funeral'.

'Cat Funeral' is based on a popular web comic of the same name. It talks of previous lovers who reunite for a 1 night 2 days trip to hold a funeral for a cat they had raised together.

The production company said, "We needed someone who can express multiple charms Dong Hoon has by playing the guitar, singing, and acting in a delicate manner. Kangin's purity and sadness in his eyes made us cast him for the role."

Previously, Kangin appeared in movies like 'Attack on the Pin-up Boys' (2007), 'Hello Schoolgirl' (2008), and television drama 'Romance Zero' (2009), and was recognized for his great acting.

'Cat Funeral' will begin filming in the middle of November and will premiere in the first half of 2014.
