EXO's fan club made an official statement about 'military exemption petition'.

On October 30, EXO's official fan café called 'EXO Planet' stated, "We are writing this statement because of an anti-fan or a fan, because of that person, EXO is being cast in bad light on various portals. We have absolutely no plans to sign any petition to exempt EXO members from military service. We will always support and encourage EXO when they make the right choices, and will discipline them when they go in the wrong direction in order for them to become more mature, although we'll be hurt. We would like everyone to know that if someone keeps spreading false information to hurt or make things difficult for the members, then we will take legal action."

Meanwhile, on the same day, a supposed petition to exempt EXO members from mandatory military service was posted on many portals and online communities, upsetting many netizens.
