4minute‘s Sohyun cast as the female lead for film ’Hwanggu‘

4minute's Sohyun will be making her big screen debut in the upcoming film 'Hwanggu'.

Sohyun will be playing the role of college student 'Mi Soo' who always cheers on her boyfriend 'Han Gu' who tries out to become a national Taekwondo athlete.

Sohyun said, "This is my first time being on my own. I'm so excited to appear on screen with such a great project. Since this is a very meaning piece, I'll do my best so that viewers will be able to watch it with warm hearts."

It was revealed that Sohyun, as a child, took part in the filming of dramas like 'Jewel in the Palace', 'Lovers in Paris', and 'Jang Gil San'.

Meanwhile, 'Hwanggu' will begin filming on October 28 and premiere in the first half of 2014.
