Nicole leaves Kara, Kang Ji-young takes time to think

Nicole is leaving Kara.

On October 4, Kara's agency DSP Media announced through an official press release, "Park Gyu-ri, Han Seung-yeon, and Goo Ha-ra have renewed their contract for another 2 years, and have decided to continue their activities with DSP."

The agency stated, "Nicole has clarified that she is no longer signing on with DSP, and thus her contract will expire in January as originally scheduled."

"The contract for Kang Ji-young will end in April and she has decided to think more about her singing career, and education. She will take more time to think and make her decision," the agency stated.

The agency said, "Kara will continue to promote domestically as well as overseas even if there are members that leave."
