On September 30, Naver announced that the company will expand the range of lodging information for its map service through business partnership with leading providers of lodging nationwide.
Naver plans to provide accommodation-related information of Hotelnjoy, Hotelpass, Yanolja, and UOK, through Naver Integrated Search and Naver Map.
Through this partnership, Naver will add a database of nearly 6,000 accommodations - including 1,000 hotels, 1,300 motels, and 4,000 pensions - and users can easily access a wide selection of accommodations through searching.
On September 27, Naver entered into a business partnership with hotel information providers including Matei, Hotelpass Global, Yanolja, and UOK. The company will strive for mutual cooperation and seek out new business models together to maximize synergy effects.
Naver's Search Division Director Lee Yoon-shik said, "Through the partnership between Naver and companies with special content, we hope that users can access to a wide range of high quality lodging information and that companies can create many different business models through a platform so-called Naver."
