Some results on 'officetel sex trade' still remain untouched, leaving Naver's effort 'incomplete'.

Search results that encourage 'officetel sex trade' have been removed when searched for 'office' on Naver.

It was found that Naver removed search results that encourage 'officetel sex trade'. An officetel comes from the word 'office' and 'hotel', and is a building in Korea that has residential and commercial units.

On August 28, AsiaToday reported that Naver has been showing information about 'office girl', a woman who performs sex work in officetels, on top of its "Jisik In" category of the search result pages when searched for 'office'. "Jisik In" is one of Naver's most popular features shown in a result page and provides answering-focused search page, which is similar to Yahoo! Answers or ask.com.

Five days later, Naver showed different search results when searched for 'office' once again. Its 'Jisik In' category showed posts titled, "Microsoft Office 2010 download", "Where do I download MS Office 2010?", "Tips to download and install Hancome Office 2010", "MS Office 2010 download (trial version)", "Office look shopping malls, What to wear to work", and more.

Naver also has changed its related search terms. Previously, the portal showed "Offi" as one of related search terms for "office" which led users to even more blatant officetel sex trades. But after AsiaToday's coverage, Naver provided only four related search terms, such as "Excel", "office supplies", "ms office", and "PowerPoint".

All the results related to 'Offi', which was one of 'Office' related search terms that encouraged sex trade, have been disappeared.

Naver changed its search results for 'Offi' as well. Previously, Naver used to provide office girls' local phone numbers with a set of sensational photos on its search result pages when searched for 'Offi'. Naver currently provides posts titled "Minecraft Offi commands!", "Offitech recruitment" and more on its search result pages.

Although Naver deleted most of sex trade posts on its search result pages for 'Office' and 'Offi', its 'Image' category still shows a post introducing office girl for sex trade in Busan region.

Naver removed most of the sensational photos shown in its 'Image' category but it seems like Naver hasn't done it completely. The second post of the 'Image' category introducing officetel sex trade in Busan region still remains untouched.
