JYJ member Yoochun will be making big screen debut.

On August 19, a media outlet revealed that Park Yoochun has been cast as the male lead for "Sea Fog" and is in the process of signing the contract.

Park Yoochun will be playing a sailor named Dong Shik, who works under the captain played by Kim Yoon-Suk. It was revealed that the role of Dong Shik was so attractive that many actors in their twenties and thirties wanted it, and Yoochun beat out all of them.

Although he made cameos in other films, this will be his official debut on the big screen as the main character.

Netizens commented, "Now we can meet Park Yoochun on the big screen", "I'm looking forward to seeing his movie soon", and more.

Meanwhile, "Sea Fog" will be the film debut of Shim Sung-Bo, who co-wrote the screenplay of 'Memories of Murder' with director Bong Joon-Ho. This will be Bong's first project as a producer, not director.
