When you search for "emperor tour", the term used in Naver cafés to describe overseas sex trade, 152 Naver cafés were detected in Naver results page. These cafés were all opened by prostitution expedition brokers and were very active with the approaching vacation season.

'Dinosaur portal' Naver has become a hotbed for overseas sex trafficking. It was revealed that more 100 overseas sex trade brokers were active in Naver cafes while hiding from the police surveillance.

These brokers were even involved in underage prostitution. However Naver, who is responsible to monitor its cafés, has been remaining silent.

As of August 12, more than 150 cafés were detected in Naver when searched for "emperor tour", "night life tour", and other terms used for overseas sex trafficking in Naver cafés.

These cafés are created by brokers and they share information for going overseas for prostitution. One of these cafés even holds a membership of 16,000 people. More than 10 cafés have nearly 5,000 members.

The brokers are openly selling their overseas sex trade tour packages. The packages include erotic massage, KTV bars, strip clubs, and other related services. They also sell local underage girls and even tell you in detail how to avoid the police crackdown.

Dozens of new posts asking for tour packages are presented on these cafés every day.

Prostitution of Korean men has been the subject of international criticism. According to many human rights reports such as Trafficking in Persons Report 2012 of the US Department of State and Project Childhood report by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Korean men are classified as main customers of child prostitution in Southeast Asia.

Korean-Filipino, or Kopino for short, called to those children born of prostitution between Korean men and Filipina prostitutes has become a social problem in the Philippines. Civil society estimates that Kopino will reach about 10,000.
