Roy Kim heads to America on August 25 for school

Singer Roy Kim is wrapping up his full album and returning to the United States for school

Roy Kim planned to enter Georgetown University back in September, however he delayed the entrance for a year to participate in the audition program 'Super Star K4' and has been focusing on his album activities as a singer.

The singer was planning on taking another leave of absence for his activities in Korea, however was told by the school that it would be impossible to take another year off from his studies. He will be heading to the US on August 25 to enter the school in September.

Through his management agency CJ E&M, he said, "I will come back as a more mature person. I'll start fresh with my new school life and study hard in music. I'm sincerely thankful to the fans."

Meanwhile, Roy Kim will step down from radio DJ on MBC FM4U's 'Roy Kim and Jung Joon-Young's Friendly Friends' on August 18.
