Sunmi‘s previous post draws attention along with her solo comeback

Ex-Wonder Girls member Sunmi is returning as a soloist after 3 years and 7 months away from the scene and her previous letter posted on her fan café is drawing attention among netizens.

Back in November 2012, Sunmi left a message on her fan café, "Hello, everyone. I'm nervous because it has been so long. I miss you and want to see all of you soon. I will work hard to deliver good news together with members for our fans."

Fans speculated that perhaps Sunmi may be returning to the Wonder Girls. However, an official from JYP Entertainment clarified, "What Sunmi said on the fan café was just the greeting to fans. She doesn't have any plans for comeback."

On August 5, Sunmi's agency JYP Entertainment stated, "Sunmi will be returning as a solo dance performance singer. The debut of female solo dance singer will be the first time after 13 years since Park Ji-Yoon in 2000. Park Jin-Young will take over the complete production including dance, outfits, MV, and the song."
