Bong Joon-Ho‘s ’Snowpiercer‘ draws 2.5 million in 4 days

Filmmaker Bong Joon-Ho's English-language debut "Snowpiercer" drew more than 2.5 million viewers in the first four days of its opening.

According to the Korean Film Council's Compiled Ticket Computer Network on August 4, "Snowpiercer" attracted 840,600 viewers on Saturday, bringing the accumulated total to 2,506,969.

"Snowpiercer" depicts the inter-class struggles among the world's last remaining inhabitants aboard a train. The film stars Hollywood actors Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Jamie Bell, and Korean actors Song Kang-Ho, and Go Ah-Sung.
