Song Joong-Ki to enlist on August 27

Actor Song Joong-Ki will be enlisting into the military.

On August 1, agency Blossom Entertainment said, "Song Joong-Ki will enter the 102th reserve on August 27 to receive basic training and start his duties as an active duty soldier."

Prior to his enlistment, he will be holding his third fanmeeting for his official fanclub on August 17.

The actor said, " I received the notice not long ago. I plan to finish the rest of my activities well and enter the training camp. I'm very thankful to all the people who supported and loved me. I can't meet every single person, but I wanted to give my thanks. I will be back in two years after serving my duty well. Stay healthy until I return and meet you with a good project."
