SBS 'K-Pop Star's second place winner Bang Ye-Dam signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment.

On June 28, YG Entertainment's CEO, Yang Hyun-Suk announced on the agency's blog 'YG Life', "Bang Ye-Dam and his parents wanted to join YG Entertainment, and YG also happily has completed all negotiations."

CEO Yang said, "With Bang Ye-Dam's entry, both the first and second place winners of 'K-Pop Star Season 2' have now joined the YG Family. For Akdong Musician, who has talents in writing and composing, we expect its first album will be released within this year. However, I believe that for Bang Ye-Dam, who is 12 years old, needs more professional training period."

Yang added, "I don't know how long it will take to for diamond to be carved, maybe a year or even a decade, but YG will do all that is necessary to help him shine."

YG Entertainment is now home of 'K-Pop Star's second place winner Lee Hi, 'K-Pop Star's first and second place winners, Akdong Musician, and Bang Ye-Dam.
