Actor Lee Hyun-Woo has become honorary ambassador for the 17th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan).

On June 13, agency KeyEast stated, "Lee Hyun-Woo was named an honorary ambassador for the 17th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan). He will be attending the appointment ceremony on June 18 at Youngdeungpo Times Square in Seoul and will be kicking off his official promotions."

PiFan is one of the authoritative film festivals in the world since 1997 supported by many film fans.

PiFan has been appointing rising stars every year. Prior to Lee Hyun-Woo, actors Bae Doo-Na, Ha Ji-Won, Park Bo-Young, and Park Ha-Sun have been appointed as honorary ambassadors.

A rep from PiFan said, "Lee Hyun-Woo showed off his potential as an actor with his newest film 'Secretly and Greatly' (or 'Covertness'). We believed that his young and unque image matches the image of PiFan."

Lee Hyun-Woo replied, "I'm so happy to be an ambassador of this film festival because I was very interested in international films. I'll try my best to connect more often with public as a honorary ambassador."
