Lee Seo-Jin joins Na PD‘s new variety show ’Grandpas Over Flowers‘

Actor Lee Seo-Jin Joined tvN's upcoming variety show 'Grandpas Over Flowers'.

On June 2, tvN announced, "Na Young-Suk PD's new show 'Grandpas Over Flowers' confirmed all of the cast members, as Lee Seo-Jin joined the cast following Lee Soon-Jae, Shin Goo, Park Geun-Hyung and Baek Il-Sub."

"Grandpas Over Flowers" is a travel variety show where the average age among the cast is 74. The show will take the actors all over Europe on backpacking trips.

Along with 'young blood' Lee Seo-Jin, the four flower grandpas will be heading to France to kick off their '9 nights 10 days' European trip.

For this show, Lee Seo-Jin will be taking the role of as a young porter and interpreter. Lee Seo-Jin has met Lee Soon-Jae before with his previous drama 'Yi San'(2007). He acted together with Park Geun-Hyung for 'Phoenix' (2004) and 'Her House' (2001).

Na Young-Suk PD said, "This is a travel variety show where elderly actors who lived their lives as actors for 50 years, take a backpacking trip for the first time in their lives. I expect their special trips would be fun and touching. Young people can easily go abroad on backpacking trips but for elders, I believe it would be a lifetime adventure for them."

The first episode will air in early July on tvN.
