Wonder Girls' Ye-Eun will be making TV debut as an actress in tvN's drama 'Basketball', which is scheduled to air in September.

'Basketball' is another piece of 'Chuno's director Kwak Jung-Hwan after two years. The drama is set during the Japanese colonial era and post independence era. It portrays the story of youth who find hope in the dark through basketball.

Ye-Eun will play the character of Bong-Soon, a servant who is always by the side of the female lead character Choi Shin-Young as a friend and like family.

Bong-Soon is a character whose family lost its land during the Japanese colonial era and came to work in a rich family's house. But she is cheerful and realistic unlike idealist Choi Shin-Young.

Ye-Eun's agency JYP Entertainment said, "Ye-Eun has been receiving acting lessons since 2009 and has been improving her acting skills through musicals, movies, and others."

"Basketball" begins filming in June and is set to air in September.
