Singer and actor Park Yoochun grabbed the Popularity Award for the TV category at the 49th Baeksang Arts Awards.

In the evening of May 9, Park Yoochun won the most popular male actor award for the TV category for his role in MBC's drama series "Missing You/ I Miss You" with 54.2% of the votes at the 49th Baeksang Arts Awards, which was held at Grand Peace Palace of Kyunghee University in Seoul.

The actor previously won the popularity award in the TV category in 2011 and 2012 for his roles in "Sungkyunkwan Scandal' and "Miss Ripley", respectively. This is the third straight year he has won this award, which is a first time in Baeksang Arts Awards' history.

Park Yoochun said, "Thank you so much for giving me this nice award every year and I will act happily to win this award next year."

An official said, "Park Yoochun has been recognized for his acting skills since his drama debut in 2010 with full support and has been winning the popularity awards every year in many awards. It seems his effort to adjust in a new character for every drama is stealing hearts of the viewers."
