The members of T-ara N4 talked about their bullying scandal associated with T-ara 's former member Hwayoung.

On May 6th episode of Mnet's "Beatles Code Season 2", T-ara N4 appeared as guests and talked about their 'Hwayoung bullying' scandal for the first time on the broadcast.

The girls admitted that some members had an argument with Hwayoung on Social Networking Service (SNS), saying, "It was true we had an argument with Hwayoung. But we tend to get over it right after when we argue. But it was wrong of us to make statements in public."

Regarding Eunjung forcing Hwayoung to eat rice cake on a variety show in Japan, she said, "To make it look funny, I purposefully made my own facial expression viciously, and I fed Hwayoung, who would probably give the better reaction than other members. I used to like rice cakes but after I was given the nickname 'rice-cake Eunjung' because of the video, I can't eat it anymore."

Hyomin spoke up on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' controversy. The issue was when Hwayoung, who appeared on the rehearsal stage along with other members, didn't appear in the actual broadcast. Hyomin said, "Right after we argued in Japan, we had a 'Music Bank' schedule. We had a conversation with Hwayoung for about 40 minutes and made peace with her. But there was already scandal online, so the agency representative decided it would be better for Hwayoung not being on the actual broadcast for team harmonization."

The girls explained, "We wanted to clarify back then, but if we did, then the situation would have gotten worse. We wanted to apologize and take time off to self reflect but in the end, we just became the kids who didn't do nothing."

T-ara N4 said, "We had been together for over 3 years, so Hwayoung might have had difficulties being with us. We apologize to have created a disturbance as public figures."
