Roy Kim and Jung Joon-Young to become radio DJs for ‘Close Friends’

Singers Roy Kim and Jung Joon-Young will be hosting a radio show together.

Roy Kim and Jung Joon-Young will make their debut as radio DJs for the MBC FM4U's 'Close Friends' at the famous walking street "Geut go sipun geuri" (Want-to-walk streets) located near Hong-Ik University on May 6.

A source from MBC Radio said, "They were requested as DJs since they proved their ability as DJs when they temporarily hosted "Noon's Song of Hope", and they pleasantly agreed the request. We hope they could blow a fresh breeze into the radio show."

Roy Kim said, "'Close Friend' is the show I used to listen to when I was little. It reminds me of old memories again, and I would like to be a DJ who could remain in one's memory." Jung Joon-Young said, "Thank you for giving me this great opportunity, and above all, I will make this show fun to hear."
