According to JYJ's agency C-JeS Entertainment on May 1, 'Jackal is coming' was chosen as the most anticipated movie of the week in a survey conducted by Yahoo Japan, overwhelmingly receiving 96 percent of the vote.
Furthermore, Kim Jaejoong's movie related DVD has topped many charts including Amazon, HMV, and Oricon DVD chart, proving his popularity in Japan.
Due to the explosive popularity of 'Jackal is coming', a Japanese local media used the term "Jaejoongnomics", a compound word made up of Jaejoong and economics, in order to explain the economic value of Kim Jaejoong.
A local source stated, "As JYJ concluded the legal dispute in Japan and finished their Tokyo Dome concert successfully, their popularity is getting higher. Kim Junsu's English single, "Uncommitted", which was released last year, has topped Amazon chart once again after the Tokyo Dome concert."
