Lee Si-Young becomes a national boxer

Actress Lee Si-Young has become a national representative boxer.

Lee Si-Young has won 22-20 against her opponent Kim Da-Som in the 48kg class in the finals for the '2013 Korean Representative Final Selection' held in Chung-Ju Gymanasium in Chungcheongbuk-do on April 24.

Lee won came from behind and became the first celebrity boxer to represent Korea. She fell behind until the second round that ended 7-9 due to Kim Da-Som's reckless offense. However, Lee started to take lead from the third round and turned the game around.

Meanwhile, Lee Si-Young plans to gain weight and compete in the 51kg class for the National Sports Festival on October. She also plans to play in the 2014 Incheon Asian Games in the 51kg class.
