Big Bang‘s Taeyang refuses birthday presents

Idol group Big Bang's Taeyang refused to receive any birthday presents, drawing much attention.

On April 12, Taeyang tweeted, "It seems some of you over here and there are preparing some birthday presents for me, but I will only take your love and hearts."

He continued, "I already have more than enough and instead of me, I want you to help those who really need it. so please understand why I am not accepting gifts. Thank you for your love, and I will return it with better music."

It seems he made this statement as his fans planned to prepare birthday gifts for him, whose birthday is May 18.

Some netizens praised, "He is so nice. I will be waiting for his music," "He is so respectful and I think he is great." However, some netizens criticized, "It's still April, right? Don't count your chickens before the eggs hatch," and more.

Meanwhile, Taeyang jokingly added, "And regarding white t-shirts..since I bought so many t-shirts for next couple of years…Just in case," making the viewers burst into laughter.
