KBS wins 3 awards at New York TV Festival

KBS won 3 awards at the 2013 New York Television Festival Awards.

On April 10, KBS announced, "At the 2013 New York Television Festival Awards held in Las Vegas, U.S.A., on April 9, KBS won the thee awards. The KBS 1TV's documentary "KBS Special Kim Jong-Il" received a silver award in Current Affairs, KBS 1TV's documentary "Icarus' Dream" received a bronze award in Sports, and KBS 2TV's drama "The Princess' Man" won a bronze award in the mini-series drama division."

This is the 55th year of the New York TV Festival, which is internationally renowned TV competition that comprehends news, documentary, entertainment, and others. More than 50 countries participated in the festival this year.

Previously, KBS won a bronze award for its drama 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' in 2012.
